PERIOD.

Pies were something that was ruined by the health departments. Pies now have to be refrigerated. Any pie lover will tell you that pies are like wine. Berry and fruit pies should be served at room temperature. Cream pies should be served at 50 degrees. That would require that all pies should be sold every day, and made fresh everyday. That wasn't a problem back in the '50s. Pies sold like hotcakes...

I don't know, but I heard that Gabby hooked up with a chick at Burning Man. I'm afraid that maybe they are still looking for a landing spot.Ernie Branscombhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06391160783604462511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-924013241079711992.post-37162956802235433172012-09-11T18:19:34.890-07:002012-09-11T18:19:34.890-07:00Ernie's huckleberry/apple pie is incroyable, m...Ernie's huckleberry/apple pie is incroyable, merveilleuse, and delicieux! It's too bad Gabby never came back from Burning Man to get his slice because he missed out. Sorry Gabby, I ate your slice. Great pie Ernie, merci beaucoup (thanks a bucket)!
