Stay tuned folks!

I realize that I have been lax lately, but coming up soon, near the end of this week I intend to become ex-lax! I have a bunch of things about recent history. I would lump them into "Town Characters" and "Bet you didn't know". I'm not sure which will gurgitate first, so stay tuned. This would be a good time for you to tell ME some stories. Do y'all have some stories that I should know?

Or maybe Oregon, who actually lives in Washington, can tell us why he has Fukushima Radiation and PG&E tells us that we don't have any more than "Background Radiation" here. Or how close he lives to the Cascadia earthquake zone. Or why is it that we are so lax about natural disasters. We KNOW that they are going to happen. Like what if we got hit by a meteorite, AGAIN. Like in dinosaur who?

Ernie, maybe you remember when Tom and Nate were drinking at the Rail and made a bet about who could run and get to the Blue Room first?
It was a hundred dollar bet and I can't remember who won.
I want to add that at the time a $100 was a lot of money.

I don't feel any different being radiated with Fukushima Radiation but maybe that is why my tomatoes are the size of soft balls and a beautiful red. I've never had ripe tomatoes this time of year.

Ernie.......Here's a story; Years ago the county built a new bridge across the Mattole at Honeydew. The old bridge was fine and next to the new bridge. On a dollar bet someone stole the bridge in one weekend. The Question ; Where is this Bridge today? Who took it? And how did he keep the bridge? Ernie and Oregon should know this story.
