Warmer or Colder? No real science.

Dr. William Gray

I have said many times that scientists who disagree with global warming lose their research grants. Please take the time to read what I have to say about this and make up your own mind. I’m not a scientist, and I have stated that many times. Because I’m not a scientist, I depend heavily on those that I trust to tell me what is going on with the world. I’m not religious, so I don’t think that praying that world gets better is going to do me any good.

First, I apologize to Bunny, who hates science stuff, and just as soon not hear it. She seems to be amongst the trendy nowadays because it appears that nobody wants real science. Real science would include research on both sides of the weather story.

In December of 2004, noted hurricane expert Dr. William Gray, the head of the Tropical Meteorological Project team at Colorado State University funded by NOAA, predicted a number of tropical storms would arise out of the Atlantic Basin, He said that he predicted about fifteen named storms, including eight hurricanes, and four of them will be intense. One of those hurricanes turned out to be Katrina.

“On May 16, 2005, 16 days before the season began, NOAA issued its outlook for the 2005 season, forecasting a 70% chance of above-normal activity. The accumulated cyclone energy (ACE) value for the season was predicted to be 120–190% of the median ACE of 87.5 × 104 kt2. Shortly thereafter, on May 31, the day before the season officially began, Dr. Gray's team revised its April forecast upwards to 15 named storms, 8 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes.”

Dr. William Gray is accepted as one of the premier weather scientists in the world! Here is what he said in an interview in Discover magazine in the September 2005 issue.
Question: “Are your funding problems due in part to your views?”

William Gray: “I can’t be sure, but I think that’s a lot of the reason. I have been around for 50 years, so my views on this area are well known. I had NOAA money for 30 some years, and then when the [William] Clinton administration came in and [Al] Gore started directing some of the environmental stuff, I was cut off. I couldn’t get any NOAA money. They turned down 13 straight proposals from me.”

This kind of thing scares the hell out of me, and I am not the only one. But, there are few people that want to hear the whole truth. Dr. Gray expects this warming trend to reverse itself in a few years. (about 2010) Then we are going to have to seriously worry about an ice age.
The following is superfluous information, unless you want to know more about Dr. Gray.

William M. "Bill" Gray (born 1929) is a pioneer in the science of forecasting hurricanes. In 1952 he received a B.S. degree in geography from George Washington University, and in 1959 a M.S. in meteorology from the University of Chicago, where he went on to earn a Ph.D. in geophysical sciences in 1964.

Gray is Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University (CSU), and head of the Tropical Meteorology Project at CSU's Department of Atmospheric Sciences. He served as a weather forecaster for the United States Air Force, and as a research assistant in the University of Chicago Department of Meteorology. He joined Colorado State University in 1961. He has been advisor of over 70 Ph.D. and M.S. students.

Gray is noted for his forecasts of Atlantic hurricane season activity. Gray pioneered the concept of "seasonal" hurricane forecasting—predicting months in advance the severity of the coming hurricane season. Gray and his team (including Christopher W. Landsea, Paul W. Mielke Jr., and Kenneth J. Berry, among others) has been issuing seasonal hurricane forecasts since 1984.

After the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season, Gray announced that he was stepping back from the primary authorship of CSU's tropical cyclone probability forecasts, passing the role to Philip J. Klotzbach. Gray indicated that he would be devoting more time to the issue of global warming. He is a controversial figure in the global warming debate, as he does not subscribe to anthropogenic [Man caused] causes for global warming.

Gray is skeptical of current theories of human-induced global warming, which he says is supported by scientists afraid of losing grant funding and promoted by government leaders and environmentalists seeking world government. He believes that humans are not responsible for the warming of the earth and has stated that "We're brainwashing our children." He asked, "How can we trust climate forecasts 50 and 100 years into the future (that can’t be verified in our lifetime) when they are not able to make shorter seasonal or yearly forecasts that could be verified?"

Gray said those who had linked global warming to the increased number of hurricanes in recent years were in error. He cites statistics showing that there were 101 hurricanes from 1900 to 1949, in a period of cooler global temperature, compared to 83 from 1957 to 2006 when the earth warmed.

Gray does not say there has not been any warming, but states "I don't question that. And humans might have caused a very slight amount of this warming. Very slight. But this warming trend is not going to keep on going. My belief is that three, four years from now, the globe will start to cool again, as it did from the middle '40s to the middle '70s."

According to an earlier interview reported by Joel Aschenbach, Gray had similarly said that the current warming in the past decades is a natural cycle, driven by a global ocean circulation that manifests itself in the North Atlantic Ocean as the Gulf Stream.

In a December 2006 interview with David Harsanyi of The Denver Post, Gray said, "They've been brainwashing us for 20 years, starting with the nuclear winter and now with the global warming. This scare will also run its course. In 15–20 years, we'll look back and see what a hoax this was." In this interview, Gray cites the global cooling article in Newsweek from 1975 as evidence that such a scare has happened in the past.

In 2006, Gray predicted a cooling trend by 2009-2010.

Nice article ernie, yes its true global warming is a fraud, its the wool pulled over our eyes. The sun is on a natural cycle and its cycle up until recently was a warming trend. look at an infrared image of the sun and you will see the solar flares getting larger and larger from the years of 2000 - 2008. Its all natural and if humans have contributed anything to it, it is a very very small amount around 1-2% MAX. This is all so they can implement a carbon trade and cap system where major industrys will have the resources and upperhand to own more carbon credits than there compeditors "small buisness" and this will alow them to pollute more by off setting there pollution with "green" eco credits for owning a forest or something creating oxygen. Ofcoarse its going to be impossible for the rest of the world to sign on to something like this so it will ultimately have a negative effect on american industry while compeditors in china / india will be free and unregulated to pollute as much as they want. This is unfair regulation and it wil cripple small buisnesses and create a new system of buracracy and regulation to micro manage our lifes and force us to pay taxs for things that we used to get for free!

The main fallacy in the Sun cycle argument is that if it were the cause the atmosphere would be warming at all altitudes. There has been no measurable increase in temperature in the upper atmosphere. The gases released at the earth's surface are fueling the "greenhouse"effect. I do believe there have been times throughout history when this has happened due to volcanic activity and perhaps unchecked fires. I just returned from a trip to Anza Borrego. When I was a kid growing up in SoCal one had only to drive to the high desert to find pristine air quality. Now there is smog everywhere. I watched as the smog was blowing over 10,000 ft. passes in the central Sierra. The hoax is that all this crap in the air isn't really making a difference...go look for yourself.

Dave, don't let Bunny find out that you know about science stuff, you will find yourself sleeping on the porch, fighting the 'coons and 'possums for dinner.

There are three different atmospheric issues going on that are somewhat intertwined and somewhat separate. There is the ozone issue that allows UV radiation to get through. There is the C02 issue that soaks up heat from the sun, called the greenhouse effect, or “Global Warming”. Then there is the pollution issue. I believe the first two are mostly a natural, and somewhat unchangeable phenomenon, at least unchangeable by man.

The pollution issue, which you and I notice in our air and water, is particularly offensive. Pollution just simply shows disregard and disrespect for the world that we live in. I see people all the time that claim to have great love for the planet that we live on, throw down trash on the street, and generally mess up the place. I see people walk into buildings without even thinking of wiping their feet. I see TONS of garbage and trash after music festivals. These are the same people that campaign for other people to buy Carbon Offsets to save the world. The Pacific Lumber Company would wait for the most beautiful pristine clean breezy spring day, when the wind was blowing up the Eel River canyon, to torch off their logging slash. No amount of carbon offsets can excuse the type of behavior that I see every day. Pollution is something that man can change, and should!

With that off my chest, I see graft and corruption in the tree planting that is supposedly going on in the tropics. I think that a lot of it is pure BS. Some of it is happening, but I thing most of it is just people taking money from foolish rich Americans with guilty consciences.

Now back to Global warming. Dave, the flaw in what you say seems to lay in the fact that ALL of the planets are experiencing global warming, as per my post addition. It has to due with a normal Sun cycle which is going to reverse.

Seasoned Atmospheric scientist are willing to prove the normal cycle theory, and what little affect that man has on the atmosphere. (other than pollution) Most are not propounding their theories because they will lose any research funding that they might otherwise get. Many of them have pushed older scientists, who have nothing to lose, out in front to lead the parade for them. I think that in two or three years you will see that other issues will be raised. I really don’t care what science might prove, I just want to see some real science, with all sides represented. Do I trust Al Gore? No.

I just read this one: ". But new NASA research suggests about half the atmospheric warming measured in the Arctic is due to airborne particles called aerosols."

Ernie Branscomb said...

Whoa! Somebody agrees with me??? What's up with this??

"In Science, Ignorance is not Bliss
Written by Walter Cunningham:
NASA has played a key role in one of the greatest periods of scientific progress in history. It is uniquely positioned to collect the most comprehensive data on our biosphere.

For example, recently generated NASA data enabled scientists to finally understand the Gulf Stream warming mechanism and its effect on European weather. Such data will allow us to improve our models, resulting in better seasonal forecasts.

NASA’s Aqua satellite is showing that water vapor, the dominant greenhouse gas, works to offset the effect of carbon dioxide (CO2). This information, contrary to the assumption used in all the warming models, is ignored by global warming alarmists.

Climate understanding and critical decision making require comprehensive data about our planet’s land, sea, and atmosphere. Without an adequate satellite system to provide such data, policy efforts and monitoring international environmental agreements are doomed to failure. Our satellite monitoring capability is being crippled by interagency wrangling and federal budget issues. As much as a third of our satellites need replacing in the next couple of years.

NASA should be at the forefront in the collection of scientific evidence and debunking the current hysteria over human-caused, or Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW). Unfortunately, it is becoming just another agency caught up in the politics of global warming, or worse, politicized science. Advocacy is replacing objective evaluation of data, while scientific data is being ignored in favor of emotions and politics.
There are excellent correlations between the regular fluctuations of the Sun and the Earth’s temperature, while scientists cannot find a relationship between industrial activity, energy consumption, and global temperatures. But global warming is an issue no longer being decided in the scientific arena."

Ernie...here is a Navy physicist who says if the sun stays sunspot quiet for a bit longer we will head into a cold cycle...

Watching the sun for what it is going to do next is critical!:
""If the sun becomes quieter than the old solar cycles, producing more than 1028 spotless days, then we might slip into a Dalton Minimum or maybe even a Grand Minima such as the Maunder Minimum. This solar state will last for decades. Several solar scientist have predicted this will begin in Solar Cycle 25, about a decade from now. But a few have predicted this will occur now in Solar Cycle 24.

"A quiet sun will cause temperatures globally to take a nose-dive. We will experience temperatures that we have not seen in over 200 years, during the time of the early pioneers."

Ernie Branscomb said...

Now we are finally talking some science!

OMR, I hope that people go to the link that you provided. The pioneers had a snowfall on the Bell Springs ridge that was over 13 ft. deep. I hope we don't have to go back to that again, but the real weather scientists say that global temperature is cyclical, predictable, and consistent, and there is no reason to think that it will change.

I've learned a lot from this post, most of which scares the hell out of me, but I am more convinced than ever that we don’t pay enough attention to the science that is out there.

The Snow at the south pole is the deepest that it has been in a long time, the sun is the hottest that it has been in a long time, the whole solar system is hotter than it has been in a long time, carbon credits are a scam. The sun is about to cool off. Make a movie and people will believe everything that you tell them.

Am I the only one that learned anything out of this post? Or did all of you already know this?

Ernie Branscomb said...

Oh, I learned one more thing, Bunny does too like science.

ernie, great thread, its enlightening to see so many local blog posters who are aware of these critical issues, the aerosol in the atmousphere i belive in atributed to the so called "chem trails" it is a topic of research that has recently gotten pretty intense, many sceptics belive they are mixing in thise aerosol particles in with the jet fuel and the contrails from the planes leave white clouds in the sky that fan outwards and can change things in the weather, another interesting think to look into is the H.A.R.R.P. array. it is a project in alaska and it is an array that can bend the ionosphere and the upper atmousphere and create a area in witch things can be unstable. such as for use in weapons defence "think missle sheild" since when a missle passes thru this area it detonates. Also it has weather modification applications aswell. Please don't take my word for it tho, i am far less educated about this subject than most, but i thought i would throw it into the conversation hopefully some more researched folks could help. try googling, "chem trails" or "harrp".

Obama talking about geo-engineering atmousphere:

http://www.cfr.org/project/1364/geoengineering.html

This is quoted from the above document:
from the Council on Forign relations "CFR"

Geoengineering Strategies

Among all geoengineering schemes, those currently considered most feasible involve increasing the planetary albedo, that is, reflecting more sunlight back into space before it can be absorbed. There are a number of different methods that could be used to increase the planet’s reflectivity:

1. Add more small reflecting particles in the upper part of the atmosphere (the stratosphere which is located between 15 and 50 kilometers above the Earth’s surface).

2. Add more clouds in the lower part of the atmosphere (the troposphere)

3. Place various kinds of reflecting objects in space either near the earth or at a stable location between the earth and the sun.

4. Change large portions of the planet’s land cover from things that are dark (absorbing) such as trees to things that are light (reflecting) such as open snowcover or grasses.

[…]

Stratospheric Aerosols that might be engineered to migrate to particular regions (e.g. over the arctic) or to rise above the stratospher (so as not to interfere in stratospheric chemistry).

Adding more of the right kind of fine particles to the stratosphere can increase the amount of sunlight that is reflected back into space.

Applied to geoengineering, various technologies could be used to loft particles into the stratosphere, such as naval guns, rockets, hot air balloons or blimps, or a fleet of highflying aircraft. Potential types of particles for injection include sulfur dioxide, aluminum oxide dust or even designer self-levitating aerosols.

The "persistant contrails", or "chemtrails" topic would make a wonderful topic for any oldtimers to contribute to.
Anyone with a pair of eyes in area can observe that the contrails that are emitted by highflying jets 'persist' instead of dissipate as they used to. Anyone with a pair of eyes and a little time to watch the sky will see those emissions spread and and become a thin cloud cover. Because my daily mountain ridge travel affords me a view to the east and west I have observed the laying of these chemtrails for over ten years. There is no daily or weekly schedule as a commercial airline would demonstrate. Typically they exhibit a N/S or slightly NNW/SSE. Once you start paying attention, it is surprising how much of the wispy or thin cloud covers are the product of a "persistant contrail" that was laid down to the west and has blown over Sohum. I have observed more of the cross patterns found readily on the net, over the western skies of ...Norhum. Tom on KGOE has a few pics, bless his soul.
The CFR aerosal program began in the later nineties. The infamous William Teller had an article in the WSJ calling for such a sunscreen for the earth in the late nineties.
Though a world of observers have railed about this on the internet, only Germany (recently) and a few US local news TV shows have covered the subject.
Several US locations have measured disturbing levels of barium and aluminum in local groundwaters after chemtrail activity, hospital records for pulmonary admissions pick up after chemtrailing as our lungs don't like it. The first year I observed them was the summer of '97 and I remembered lung bug that circulated from Socal to the NW. It has been suggested that long chain viruses and bacteria may descend with the aerosols and be the source of the unfamiliar infections.
As with anything the military does, it has multiple purposes.
There was a TV show on History Channel, or one like that, trying to diss the issue by testing commercial airplane fuel, admitting that the military would not allow their fuel to be tested. Well everyone knows that it is military run...so measuring commercial fuel was a clear misdirection.
If readers dispute some part of this, please keep your minds open to the topic and....open your eyes to observe just how many lines in the sky there are, and what happens to them.
If someone can remember contrails that persist from the good ol' days, please speak up. I don't.

What I would like to know is: When did the public schools stop teaching logic and critical thinking?

As things stand now, the media can tell the public anything and the people will believe it. They truly have been raised to behave as sheep or cattle do.

For leaders, herding Americans around is easier when none of them thinks for himself or herself.

Another detail about the chemtrails is that Dennis Kucinich had a bill before congress to ban space based weaponry and messing with the climate programs, including chemtrails. He had to drop the mention of chemtrails in his second bill to get it out of committee. So the program is pretty important to someone. To my knowledge Kucinich has never come clean about why mention of chemtrails got purged from the bill.
The other day I was in a store and the woman was saying what a lovely day it was, and I had to add 'except for those' pointing a few lines floating overhead in the sky. Well she burst into light tears because she said she couldn't get anyone to acknowledge what is obvious on a weekly basis around here. I assured her that many people are aware, but what can you do. One local storeowner tried to see Thompson about it to no end. You cannot get any official to acknowledge what is readily visible to the physical eyes...but you will get treated as if you saw a ghost.
I have several friends whose minds just snap shut on the subject...it is one of those subjects like Bush allowing/helping 9/11 to happen despite intelligence warnings from ten countries...go back to sleep 'merika, and chew on your tv cud.

Rite on!! Its time for the sheep to wake up and smell the marijuana --its been prooven that its a lot better for you than coffee which is the drug that everyone takes starting first thing in the morning. They brainwash you with it so youll get in line with the other sheep but if you took a bong hit instead or some mushrooms or LsD the mind would turn around and we might be able to get together and see through this phony warming problem.

im thinkin that instead of all this energy going to study global warming and other similar eco BS we need to start putting our money and energy into finding a way to get ourselves off of this dying planet. Any critical thinker can see that --its totally a no-brainer. If we don't leave Earth behind real soon we're doomed to stay here that much longer and thats the danger cuz of the state of the planet these days. After they killed JFK who promoted the space program and everything they started taking over with big corporations and polluting the planet and moving in the wrong direction ... then peeps had the back to the earth movement and focused on this little tiny planet instiead of the moon and the sstars and beyond cuz we lost our expanded consciousness Kennedy leader who took acid with Marilyn Monroe and everything and at that point the reversal was set into motion and now the eclogy movement peeps are doing too little too late. i told them that they arent looking at the big picture which is the universe, but theyre brainwashed and wont take Suzy serious so what can yuo do?. Hello? the Earth is just a little blip on the radar screen and is about to die, but the "out to save the planet" peeps are on such a big ego trip (eco trip) and they want your money so bad that they cant see the forset for the trees or are they able to tell green from red and there is definately a red flag waving at us all telling us we're doomed if we don't leave earth behind but they are only concerned with their own llittle world and its all about them and so they cant think critically about it all and everything and so they dont see the logic in kicking this little planet to the curb and moving on. The old myths need to be revised, the old wisdoms need editing --if you give a man a fish he'll only have enough to eat for one meal, but if you teach him to fly to another planet in another galaxy where food is abundant he will have plenty to eat forever. And as the fish populatiion declines on earth so does the other species like polar bears. Its called the food chain... Bears eat fish and when we run out of fish theyll eat YOU! i hate to have to be the one to tell you but theyre not the cute little cuddly teddy bears that some peeps who go into a cage with them at feeding time might believe until they find out the hard way. Hello?!!! --if the sun goes out itll be too cold for even polar bears to survive and theyre a endangered species as it is. Check out this link for more info on the issue.

Cuddly polar bears may be only two in a hundred but these bears loved playing some sled dogs...
"The location was a kennel outside Churchill, Manitoba owned by dog breeder Brian Ladoon, who kept some 40 Canadian Eskimo sled dogs there when Rosing visited in 1992. A large polar bear showed up one day and took an unexpected interest in one of Ladoon's tethered dogs. The other dogs went crazy as the bear approached, Rosing says, but this one, named Hudson, "calmly stood his ground and began wagging his tail." To Rosing and Ladoon's surprise, the two "put aside their ancestral animus," gently touching noses and apparently trying to make friends.

Just then another large polar bear arrived and advanced toward one of Ladoon's other dogs, Barren. The latter rolled on his back, then the pair commenced playing "like two roughhousing kids," Rosing writes, tumbling around in the snow as he snapped pictures of the surreal encounter from the safety of his vehicle. The bear returned for more play sessions every afternoon for 10 days in a row."

No problem Ernie -- thats the just way Suzy IS. i cant help it. My parents were hippies from way back and so they tuaght Suzy 2 be "part of the solution" --

You see as a young Suzy i learned all about how Tim Leary was jailed for mere possession of marijuana and made an escape and jumped over the prison wall and hid out in N. Africa with the famous black panther Wallace Cleaver. Cleaver protected Leary but when his younger brother Theodore spilled the beans on Learys whereabouts to Eddie and Lumpy back in Oakland Tim knew that Warden June would soon find out and that would be the end of his freedom if he didnt act fast so he took some acid and thats when Leary figured out that you could go further than just over a wall if you had the rihgt force of momentum and so with the help of the Black panthers of africa he came up with the ultimate solution --the idea of traveling to other galaxies. Its the solution that the radicals in the movement found thanx to TL. It all happened the day that Leary and the african panthers and some morracan hash smokers were having a pigroast ceremony of spring renewal --the Moraccans associate the Earth with a wild pig and sprinkle its blood on their fields at equinox. for them the pig is the earth and the earth is the pig. And during the ceremony when Tim was trying to explain his hash vision of going to outer space to them and told them that we need to get off the planet they didnt understand cuz of thier not speacking english all that good and he kept saying "off the planet, we need to get off the planet" but they didnt get it. Then he said off the PIG and they all smiled and undrstood and that became the new rallying cry for the left and the panthers and the hipppys and everything and even today youll see an old hippy standing in front of the Blue Moon raise a clenched fist and say off the pig! It means that getting off the planet is the ultimate solution.

You almost had me there for a few seconds, then I remembered who Wallace Cleaver was. Wallace (Wally) Cleaver was Beaver Cleaver’s big brother, like in “Leave it to Beaver”. Eldridge Cleaver was a distant relative of Beaver and Wally, but he had different standards. Eldridge spent a lot of time in jail where he was forced to contemplate his sins. He wrote a book about his life of, ummm… ummm… Let’s just call his life, a life of crime. I will cover Eldridge more deeply in my upcoming post, “Disambiguation of the Sixties”. When Eldridge Cleaver said “Off the Pigs” he meant kill the cops. He felt that he could never give up crime, so his only hope was to get rid on the cops. He failed miserably, as one might have guessed he would.

Wally’s little brother, Beaver, was known As “The Beave” long before The Fonze” became known as “The Fonze”. The Fonze totally ripped of The Beave. The Beave was cool before cool was cool.

Leave it to Ernie to write about something as cewl as disampiguation of the 60s. He knows its all about the cewling of the globe which started way back when pigs first got wings.. But hey Ern, thanks 4 connecting Suzys dots LOL, i forgot to mention about how the Fonze stole Mrs Cleavers hairdo and everything

...and so when yuo do the next post on polarity and bears and how soul got on ice and how it all melted when Tim Leary got there and all about the Cleavers and jail and offing the pig and how Elkridge Bleaver got busted and why the American Haskels are a threatened spiecies and what Leary and Beaver did when they were cellmates at San Quenton and tripping on LsD that the warden gave them --dont neglect to explain the influance that Warden June had on the counterculture

I used to think June was pretty cewl, but then one morning at the breakfast table she uttered the smuttiest words, quite colorful for a black and white audience..."Ward, don't you think you were a little hard on the Beave last night?"
He was reading his paper and trying not to get all hysterical on tv, but my innocent little world sure changed.

If you are saying what I think that you are saying, you are being grossly unfair to poor June. She was of high moral character and certainly did not engage in those sorts of activities. Only the “common folks” did those sorts of things. Back in the 50s, you had to order your babies from the stork and wait your turn to get one. So they were all wanted children and somewhat pampered. Of course she thought doing anything to the Beave was just not right!

you are all quite correct to point the finger at Leave It To Beaver (LITB) for powerfully influencing the counterculture. it was the first tv program to show a toilet, and, look what its writers went on to do on the munsters!:
After Leave It To Beaver ran its course, Mosher and Connelly then created "The Munsters." While Mosher and Connelly broke new TV ground with LITB as the first program to show a toilet, they also broke new ground in The Munsters as well. The Munsters was the first TV program to show a husband and wife in bed together." OMG!
john holmes was so moved by the show that he took "eddie haskell" as his 'stage' name:
"21) Did Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell) become a porn star?
Another urban legend. John Holmes, and adult movie star took his name and did several movies satirically under the name "Eddie Haskell". Mr. Osmond launched a $25 million suit. The suit went all the way to the California Supreme Court. The court ruled for Mr. Holmes, saying the name was protected as a satire. This case set a precedent in the matter, and is still referred by other cases in California today."
whether elkridge cleaver was the one black guy ever to be on the show,as a servant, is not known; but it might explain some of his anger and later porcine prejudice.

Thank you for defending June's virtue Ernie... but how come that conical pointy bra style went away never to come back? Sweaters on gals haven't looked the same since!

Lumpy was a studmuffin...
"Frank Bank, who played Lumpy, also published a biography, called, "Call Me Lumpy : My Leave It to Beaver Days and Other Wild Hollywood Life", by Frank Bank and Gib Twyman. Frank was quite a philanderer in the love free days of the 60's. Frank claims without exaggeration that he's experienced over 1,400 women (and that's not counting duplicate encounters!), but his publisher made him cut the number down to 1,000 to make the figure sound believable."

Was an overheated Lumpy an early cause of global warming? I dunno, but in support of the Anons here...the geo-engineering has already started

Hmmmm....very interesting.

Lots of good information presented here.

However most of the links posted took me to articles that were riddled with fallacies.

Particularly the links which discussed evolution.
